  • シリーズ 震災と向き合う -もし伏見に地震が起こったら- 『震災と復興 -震災の後に起こる避けて通れないことを阪神・淡路大震災に学んで知っておく-』，2018.03

    一般市民をたいしょうにして、震災の後に取り組まなければならない都市復興について、伏見を具体的な地域として定めたうえで解説した。東日本大震災以降、国内の防災意識は津波対策に向けられがちであるが、プレート内断層型と呼ばれる直下型地震は、伏見で発生が懸念される自身であり、そのメカニズムは阪神・淡路大震災のそれと酷似していると予想される。したがって防災・減災対策は東北の事例よりも阪神・淡路から学ぶ必要がある。

  • 第３回それはかなう夢講座，2016.10

    現在科学研究費補助金で進めている防災・減災教育を実践する見地から、ニュージーランドのクライストチャーチで2011年に発生した直下型大地震について、同じプレート内断層型（直下型）大地震である兵庫県南部地震（阪神・淡路大震災）と比較しつつ話題提供した。

  • 附属環境教育実践センター主催の公開講座，2015.07

    標記の公開講座において、阪神・淡路大震災からの復興プロセスとそこで生じた諸問題を一般向けにわかり易く解説し、多くの質疑を得て防災や減災に対する意識高揚に関してすそ野拡大を図ることに成功した。

  • 京田辺市立桃園小学校第５学年（３学級）における特別授業，2021.10

    小学校第５学年社会科で学ぶ自動車工業について、クイズを交えた授業を行った。日本とは異なる視座からの考察を促すため、ドイツのギムナジウムの地理教科書を利用してビジュアルな授業設計に努めた。授業の成果について、受け入れ側の竹村晴香教諭（本学卒業生）とともに論文としてまとめる予定である。

  • 国際地理オリンピック2021イスタンブール大会日本代表選手の強化研修（フィールドワーク指導），2021.07

    フィールドワークでの観察眼や考察力が重視される国際大会に向けて日本代表戦背湯４名のうち１名に選出された智辯和歌山高等学校３年生の生徒を対象として、附属高等学校の新井教之教諭とともに実地指導を行った。結果的にどう線背湯は国際大会（椅子単ブーツで制ぐよするオンライン開催）で銅メダルを獲得する好成績を収めた。

  • 商店街の何を観るか，2021.03

    国際地理オリンピック国内最終予選のテストに先立つブリーフィングにおいて、出題内容と関連する地域観察の技法を画像を交えながら解説。対象（聴衆）は国際地理オリンピック国内最終予選に勝ち残った１２名。
